EASTER DAY HALLELUJAH!

Greetings to you all on this wonderful Easter Day. "Christ is risen, - - - - -He is risen indeed!"
If you had been at the early morning "Sun rise" service held by the wonderful folk of the Rosebud Salvation Army Corps, at Arthurs Seat Look-out (near Rosebud Victoria) you would have found the whole area blanketed in thick cloud or fog. Still, the service continued and the message proclaimed "Christ is Risen!" and the response "He is risen indeed", echoed through this mist filled area.
As the morning progressed so the fog cleared and the beautiful Easter day was enjoyed by all who gathered for the public worship service at the Corps, which was just wonderfully full of blessing and enrichment.
Yes its true, if you know me, you will know that my mind allows me to wander into some interesting aspects of thought and so it is that I have been thinking of not just today but rather the day that brings us to celebrate Easter Day.
The day the women went to the tomb with their spices and ointments to attend to the body of their precious Jesus, the running Peter and the other disciples who were all wondering what the women's message was all about.
It was surely a "fog filled" area around them, as the mists of doubt came swirling around them,
but praise be to God the mist was cleared as the Risen Christ was revealed and the day became clear and the rejoicing sounds of "He is risen indeed!" were heard as well as repeated by many.
Well today I joined with other Christians who no longer walk in the fog or mist of doubt but rather enjoy the thrill of a clear experience of having Christ alive in them. He is risen indeed!
I still enjoy the chorus that says, "Alive, alive, alive for evermore, my Jesus is alive, alive for evermore, Alive, alive, alive for evermore, my Jesus is alive. Sing Hallelujah! sing Hallelujah!
My Jesus is alive for evermore, Sing Hallelujah! Sing Hallelujah! My Jesus is alive.

1.Peter 1: 3-5. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritence incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." "He is risen indeed!"
