Greetings dear friends!
With members of my family we had a very nice drive recently and enjoyed the surroundings of the scenery as we travelled. However at one point we came to a "T" intersection and we had to make a decision about which way we should go. I have to admit that I did take the advice of fellow passenger, my wife, and quess what, we made the right decision and arrived at our destination safe and sound, continuing to enjoy ourselves.
In the Scriptures there are a couple of verses that speak about "the way we take." There is a severe warning in this one, "There is a way that seem right to a man, but it is the way of death!"
Proverbs 14: 12.
The other one is found in the book of Isaiah 30: 21. "Your ears shall hear a word behind you saying,"This is the way walk you in it." Whenever you turn to the right hand, or whenever you turn to the left."
I am interested in the way that verse from Isaiah says the word will come from behind us, you know this indicates that the Lord is looking forward with us, and He is with us, in fact right behinds us as well as in front of us, because we are also told,'the Lord knoweth the way that we take.'
Surely when we have commited our way unto the Lord then we can walk confidently knowing that we are on the correct way.
I used to sing these word: "When we walk with the Lord in the light of His word, what a glory He sheds on our way; while we do His good will, He abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey." (Salvation Army Song Book 397.)
I trust you will have a great day, on the correct way for your life's journey. God bless you!
