A Waiting game

My grandaughter's friend was watching the television advertisement for a forthcoming action movie and made the statement, "I can't wait till this movie is released!"
Well, my mind began racing as I thought of what must have been happening in that grave when Jesus was buried and the stone was pushed to the entrance as a man made seal.
Can you imagine with me all the powers of hell and heaven working as the hours past and the great event of the Easter morning was approaching.
The powers of Hell trying to make sure that resurrection would not take place and the powers of heaven getting ready for the great proclamation, "He is risen!"
I'm getting ready to meet the dawn and to see the sun rise so that I may proclaim the SON risen.
You know like my gradaughter's friend, I can't wait for this release, but then as I think about it, I have already experienced the release of the Power of God in my life, have you? If not why not make this Easter Day very special by asking the Resurrection Power and glory of Jesus to fill and flood your life.
Like the chorus says; "When the glory gets in to your soul, you will shout the praises of your heavenly Father, when the glory gets in to your soul.

"So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard. "
Matthew 27; 66

  2. The Waiting Game - a most interesting thought indeed. I always anticipate (and expect!) much inspiration from our faith celebrations at Eastertime.
This morning we were privileged to attend a Dawn 'New Fire' Service at our local Anglican church for the very first time. I came away feeling so glad that I had "prepared to meet the dawn, see the sun rise and proclaim the SON risen."
Thanks for publishing your God-thoughts via the blogosphere. Continue to share the spiritual blessing!
