FINDING WHAT'S NOT LOST!

Greetings dear friends!
The other day I went into a state, that is, I lost my car keys, no matter where in the places I looked, I could not find them. Time was running short as I needed to be at an appointment, and the confusion of mind that I allowing myself to get into was nothing short of ridiculous. As I was going from one place to another all of a sudden the words of Scripture I used to sing as a chorus in church came to my mind, "Be still and know that I am God!" So I began to sing the words, and would you believe it, the calm that came over me was wonderful, so I sat down at my desk and bowed my head and asked the Lord to cover me with His peace completely, and He did.
As I opened my eyes and lifted my head, right in the very front of me were my keys. I must
admit I looked at them in amazement and the thought came to me," I said they were lost ,but God knew exactly where they were and to Him they were not lost at all. Yes, I actually found what was not lost!
I wonder if this is what John Newton discovered when he gave testimony in his song, Amazing Grace!
Look with me at the words of his first verse;
"Amazing grace! how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see. (The Song Book of The Salvation Army 308, v: 1.)

Do you feel lost today? Then let me tell you to the good and precious gracious Lord, you are His and by His death on the Cross of Calvary you have a place in His heart, what about right now giving Him a place in yours?

God bless you!
Have a lovely day, I am pleased to have found this time with you!

"It was right that we should make merry, and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, was lost and is found." Luke 15: 32.

  1. God helps you find your car keys, yet ignores the prayers of the starving, the abused and the gravely ill. What an awesome 'god' you worship.
